Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide sound technical expertise when applying engineering principles, techniques and methods to design of projects.
• Coordinate and assist the line manager to develop and continuously improve the design review process and to maintain quality.
• Provide technical guidance to technical office team for better alignment
• Review and extracts engineering information from CAD Drawings & revit
• Prepare engineering designs computations, sketches, and review final design drawings/documents.
• Establish the design requirements of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverable for adherence to these criteria.
• Carry out technical review for all civil and structural work and other structures, including Independent Design Checks.
• Assure design is in conformance with time, cost, schedule and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate the work of the project team with other engineering disciplines through liaison with other professionals.
• Prepare and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Review designs prepared by others as part of a Quality Management process.
• Study the project contract documents (schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
• Review design changes, proposals, and variation orders.
• Participate in meetings for reviewing progress and coordination.
• Brief and provides technical and management guidance to the technical engineers throughout the detailed design and construction phases.
• Monitor the progress of all design phases submissions against the agreed time schedules.
• Coordinate with other trades to solve any conflict between various engineering disciplines.
• Participate in defining and implementing corrective actions where deficiencies are detected.

Qualifications:

• Education: Engineering bachelor’s degree.
• Real estate, construction or engineering consultancy experience is a must.
• Related function experience: 3-7 years’ experience.
• Related position experience: 2 years’ experience.

• MS office – Excellent.

• MATLAB – Excellent
• HAP – Excellent
• Residential and commercial projects experience.
