Main Purpose
Design and develop an efficient project’s plan by drawing working schedules and budgets, analysing project specifications and finding cost-effective ways to meet them. Monitor all stages of work and provide solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule, plan the entire program of work and decide on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each project.
- Understand project specifications and develop time schedules and budgets that meet them.
- Calculate optimal material requirement, manpower requirement for each stage of the project
- Coordinate with the project manager and different departments to ensure good execution of the plan
- Plan for the budget required for the project and monitor expenses as the project is executed periodically
- Create cash flow forecasts for each project.
- Monitor and track project progress and prepare daily, weekly and monthly updates of the project
- Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance) at various stages of the project to analyze deviations
- Conduct subcontractors’ evaluations and suggest areas of improvement.
- Observe existing processes, analyze staff performance, and address deficiencies accordingly.
- Analyzing technical drawings and providing material and cost estimates.
- Create Project Closing Reports with continuous improvement.
- Provide assessment of extension of time claims.
Qualifications:
- Education: Engineering bachelor’s degree.
- Real estate, construction or engineering consultancy experience is a must.
- Related function experience: 3+ years’ experience.
- Related position experience: 2 years’ experience.
Technical Qualifications:
- MS office – excellent.
- Primavera – Very Good
